Next Day Art has success at the New York Licensing International Show

July 17, 2007

Portland, ME – Selected artwork and images represented by Next Day Art have now been licensed into most major product categories. “We are beginning to see a great response from manufacturers and a very strong reception to their artwork,” commented James Meserve, president of Next Day Art.

Many more images from the thousands of images created by Next Day Art artists are still available for licensing. Meserve emphasized, “Our goal is to become a major supplier of images that are on trend and in style so we work hard to represent a wide variety of styles and genres. Not all art is right for the moment, but designers rely on us as a good art source and they look to us to fill niche programs or mainstream categories.”

Most of the artists that are represented by Next Day Art are new to the art licensing world and this gives manufacturers an opportunity to create really new looks for the market. “The biggest challenge facing manufacturers today is in creating new, innovative designs. The battle is fought and won on the creative side not in the old economy mindset of continually cutting manufacturing costs. Good design wins every time.” explains Meserve.

Following exhibitions at the New York SURTEX Show in May and the Licensing International show in June, Next Day Art has now licensed images into greeting cards, stationary, textiles, calendars, journals, notebooks, collectibles, puzzles, tabletop accessories, home accents and more. Portfolios for each artist can be viewed on the Next Day Art website and the company continues to add new images on a regular basis.

Next Day Art, a LIMA member, represents over 70 artists and works with major manufacturers, retailers and designers in developing and creating exciting art-based products.
