Next Day Art adds Licensing Account Manager

March 10, 2010

Portland, ME – Next Day Art, a Portland-based art licensing company, announced that Laura Serino has joined the company as licensing account manager.  Laura has a background in publishing and graduated from Fordham University. Laura will be responsible for presenting artwork to existing clients and developing new art licensing opportunities.

“I am really pleased that Laura has joined Next Day Art.  As we continue to grow, it is important to clients and our artist community that we are able to support their efforts by improving our services”, commented James Meserve, president of Next Day Art.   “Laura’s background working as a researcher and writer for design-based magazines will allow her to marry current trends with the appropriate art from our collections”, continued Meserve.

Next Day Art works as an artist agent by helping put the right designs in front of the right manufacturers at the right time.   “Artists can focus on creating new designs while we handle the marketing, presentation, negotiations and business side of the equation”, explains Meserve.  “It really makes the most sense and helps make life easier for manufacturers of art-based products as they can know they can go to us and feel confident that the process will flow smoothly.”

Companies that produce greeting cards, home accents, gifts, wall décor, textiles, collectibles, puzzles, calendars and more count on Next Day Art to source and license art.

Artist portfolios can be viewed on-line or by requesting custom printed portfolios through Next Day Art.  Next Day Art represents more than 80 artists and more than 15,000 works of art.
