Medana Gabbard
Medana Gabbard was born in Phoenix, Arizona. She and her four siblings were raised by their cherished parents Edward and Joan Galda. Although Medana has never received any formal art training, she grew up influenced by her father and brother, both very gifted artists.? ?Medana had little time for art while working and raising her three children; Desiree, Robert and Heather. It was only after a life changing trip to Vermont in 2001 that she decided to pour heart and soul into painting full time. The beauty of Vermont is a never ending source of inspiration for her paintings. She appreciates the history of New England homes and barns. She loves the vibrant colors of the trees, the beauty of the fields, cows, and one of her favorite things, pumpkins! ? ? Medana loves to see people smile as they study her paintings and discover a loving, peaceful place set in earlier times. The same message of peace and love are present in all of Medana's paintings. You will often find Medana's husband, children, grandson, and dogs depicted in the scenes.? ?Medana and her husband divide their time between Brandon, Vermont and Arizona. You can often find Medana painting in her studio-gallery in Brandon during the summer and fall. In the winter they return to Arizona to be with their family. |
