Carol Dillon

Formal portraits were once painted for the Aristocracy featuring dogs patiently seated beside their masters. Since then the role of our dogs has changed. No longer are they relegated to the floor. In fact, they have the choice of any chair in the house, or are the constant traveling companion in our latest designer handbag.

For as long as I can remember I have loved art, and all dogs of every shape and size. I was always involved in art from a very early age, and worked at Nordstrom in advertising after receiving a BA from the Burnley School of Professional Art in Seattle, Washington. I now spend my time capturing the sparkle in each dog's eyes as they lounge in their favorite, brightly colored spot. My greatest reward is the tearful client saying, "You captured my dog perfectly!"
